The Family Orchard

I'm in Florida visiting my family this week. In recent years my Dad has become obsessed with rare fruit. He literally has a whole orchard of rare fruit in his backyard now. Everything from Black Raspberries to Coffee plants to Pineapple Guava, Papaya and a Limequat (a lime and kumquat combined).

Black Raspberries.

They were actually ripe and ready to eat this morning. There is nothing like picking fruit right from the plant and eating it. NOTHING.

Peaches.

Just babies right now. Aren't they so cute?!

Pineapple Guava.

This is the bloom that comes before the fruit. Isn't it unique and so beautiful?
